WISPAMERICA Opens in OKC

Oklahoma City, OK, March 24, 2025 – WISPA – The Association for Broadband Without Boundaries – has officially opened WISPAMERICA 2025. The annual spring event, this year taking place from March 24-27 at the Oklahoma City Convention Center, gathers more than 1,000 industry professionals, operators, and exhibitors for a premier networking and educational experience.

“Since we were last together much has changed, with the results of the 2024 election setting in motion many significant, positive policy shifts,” said David Zumwalt, president and CEO of WISPA. “Meanwhile, WISPs have continued to grow, finding innovative ways to connect more customers and meet the ever-increasing demand for reliable internet access. These advancements are a testament to the resilience, agility, and commitment that define WISP operators across the country, and this is the heart of what WISPAMERICA celebrates each year.”

Underscoring this, Oklahoma Governor, Kevin Stitt, proclaimed this week as “Broadband Appreciation Week,” recognizing in part that the “continued success in fully closing the digital divide relies on using all technologies, including fixed wireless, fiber, and satellite technologies…[and that] Members of WISPA…consistently deploy a ‘best tool for the job’ approach that includes all broadband technologies as solutions for individual projects…” (emphasis added)

Attendees at this year’s conference will see:
