WISPA Welcomes Senator Deb Fischer as New Chair of Subcommittee on Telecommunications and Media

Washington, DC, February 21, 2025 – WISPA congratulates Senator Deb Fischer (R-NE) on her appointment to Chair the Senate Subcommittee on Telecommunications and Media.  Senator Fischer has been a critical voice in support of rural broadband, recognizing that all technologies including fixed wireless are critical to solving the digital divide. WISPA is confident that Senator Fischer’s deep understanding of the need to efficiently use our limited supply of spectrum will result in a balanced spectrum policy, delivering results for all Americans.  We look forward to continuing our work with Senator Fischer and the Subcommittee on these critical issues.
