WISPA Congratulates House Communications and Technology Subcommittee Chair, Vice Chair

The following statement may be attributed to Matt Mandel, VP of Government Affairs for WISPA – The Association for Broadband Without Boundaries:

Washington, DC, December 20, 2024 – WISPA congratulates Representatives Richard Hudson (NC-09) and Rick Allen (GA-12) for their appointment today as Chair and Vice Chair respectively of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce, Subcommittee on Communications and Technology. Both understand the importance of ubiquitous connectivity, especially in service of rural, un-served and under-resourced communities; and the need for balanced spectrum and light touch regulatory policies which boost broad-based innovation while also being small-business friendly. WISPA is excited for the work to be accomplished in the 119th Congress as they guide the Subcommittee and the ISP industry toward renewed growth and prosperity for all Americans.
