Washington, DC, January 16, 2025 – WISPA applauds President-elect Donald Trump’s nomination of Olivia Trusty to fill the vacated seat of outgoing FCC Chair Jessica Rosenworcel.  Trusty’s broad experience in both government and the private sector will work to foster renewed growth in the broadband sector, ultimately helping to bring more services at lower prices to U.S. consumers in urban, rural and Tribal areas of the country.  We look forward to working with soon-to-be Commissioner Trusty and help the FCC realize its goal of getting all Americans online with reliable and affordable broadband.
