NTIA Makes Important BEAD Change

NTIA has determined that broadband provided via ‘licensed-by-rule’ spectrum, such as GAA,
is “reliable,” making providers using that spectrum eligible for funding if fiber is too expensive,
or protecting them from overbuilding by other BEAD projects.
