Today, in an opinion piece in the Wall Street Journal, Federal Communications Commission Chairman Ajit Pai outlines his proposal for a better approach to “net neutrality,” including a repeal of current rules that have created significant uncertainties and compliance burdens for small businesses that provide broadband.

WISPA and the Broadband Access Coalition Submit Reply Comments Urging FCC to Move on Mid-Band Spectrum Use

WISPA, along with the Broadband Access Coalition, submitted Reply Comments to the FCC in regard to the 37000-4200 MHZ band, urging the FCC to move forward with a notice of proposed rulemaking on the Coalition’s proposal to make the band available for fixed point-to-multipoint use. Separately, WISPA filed Reply Comments reiterating its views that the 5925-7125 MHz band should be made available for unlicensed use, and should not be auctioned.
